For any business, maintaining customer relationships is paramount. Keap shines here. As my preferred CRM system, it’s not only brilliant at managing customer interactions, but also an excellent tool for dispatching newsletters and organizing marketing campaigns. Keeping your customers engaged has never been so easy.


2) Shopping Cart Systems – Elopage and SamCart

When it comes to selling products, I rely on Elopage and SamCart. While one is sufficient for most, maintaining two is a safety net. There are instances where payment providers delay payouts due to irregularities, as famously experienced by Russell Brunson. Having a backup shopping cart system ensures your revenue stream remains uninterrupted.


3) Landing Page Building – WordPress, GetResponse, Keap, and builderall

Creating appealing landing pages is an art. For this, I alternate between WordPress, GetResponse, Keap, and builderall, depending on specific needs. Since I work with diverse clients, using a range of systems allows me to provide the best possible solution for each.


4) Accounting – Lexoffice and Quickbooks

As a German entrepreneur, I use Lexoffice for accounting. But for my American friends, Quickbooks is a fabulous alternative. Its robust features are specifically designed to simplify small business accounting.

For documentation, presentations, and spreadsheets, nothing beats the Microsoft Office Suite. Working with large companies necessitates using this ubiquitous platform.


6) Video Conferencing – Microsoft Teams and Zoom

Virtual meetings are a staple in today’s work environment. Depending on the client’s preference, I utilize Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Both offer reliable video conferencing capabilities. Teams is more for corporate clients, Zoom more for small businesses, freelancers and solopreneurs.


7) Project Management – Asana

Asana, my preferred project management tool, helps keep track of tasks, deadlines, and team collaborations. Its user-friendly interface ensures nothing slips through the cracks.


8) Design and Images – Canva and Shutterstock

Canva makes design accessible even to non-designers, while Shutterstock provides a diverse array of quality images. Free sources are available, but I find paid services often offer superior choices.


9) Collaborative Whiteboarding – Miro

For corporate training and brainstorming sessions, Miro’s collaborative whiteboarding tool is invaluable. Its real-time features foster a highly interactive environment.


10) SEO and Analytics – Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, and Answer The Public
