Elopage Integration Options

Elopage is a German system provider for selling digital goods and services online. The system comes with a wide variety of in-built features. However, sometimes the native functionalities are not sufficient. In this case you need to integrate it to other systems you may already use. In this article, I will outline the Elopage integration options for you.

As an Elopage Certified Assistant, I am working with many clients that use Elopage. In this role, I come across a lot of different business scenarios that need to be implemented into the system.

Why integrating systems into existing landscapes?

Many of my clients already have systems in place for other process pieces. And you don’t want to migrate your entire business to new platforms whenever you need to solve a new problem. Therefore, you want a system that can be integrated with other systems.

The options you have with Elopage vary depending on your business case.

Elopage integration option via placing links at the required process steps

The easiest option for integration is in fact no real technical integration. You simply use the Elopage system in a very smart way. What does this mean? Imagine you want to let clients schedule a call immediately after they have purchased a coaching with you. Then you can simply send a confirmation email. The email contains the respective link to your scheduling tool (e.g. Calendly) for the client. Thus, the purchase confirmation email contains the link to the next process step. In this way, you simply place the link into a custom email.

Another option is to add an upsell link into an online course that your clients purchased. Or putting related products into your membership area so that clients can purchase an upsell. There are a lot of very simple ways to place links at the right location. This can save you a lot of manual work.

Elopage integration option via external applications

Another option to integrate Elopage is via external systems. One of these systems is e.g. GetMyInvoice. This app gets all your invoices from various applications (that means not only Elopage). And then it copies them into your main accounting system (e.g. Datev or other accounting systems). For using this system, you only have to create an account with GetMyInvoices. Then your enter the login details for the various systems. GetMyInvoices will then gather all the data.

This type of integration is technically not really an integration. It is rather a system that copies and pastes data from one system to another one. But it still reduces your workload because you have all your data in one location.

System internal Elopage integrations

You also have the Elopage internal integrations. This can be e.g. integrations to email automation programs like Klick-Tipp, GetResponse, ActiveCampaign or Mailchimp. In all options, you can transfer client data from purchases or free products into your email automation program.

However, the difference is that in case of Klick-Tipp, you can even link the exact product that was purchased with tags in Klick-Tipp. You can generate a super detailed key that can be linked directly to the product. For the other email autoresponders, you can only transfer the client data overall. If you want to have specific information, you can additionally create an integration with Zapier (see below).

You also have internal Elopage integrations when it comes to payment processing. For example, you can integrate PayPal and Stripe inside of Elopage, next to using the default processing provider.

Elopage integrations via Zapier

Zapier allows you to integrate a lot of different applications with Elopage. To use Zapier, you simply have to create an account with Zapier. Then select the applications that you want to integrate. Next, you select the transaction to integrate and test your setup.

Depending on what exactly you want to do, you may have to select the correct fields to be mapped. For example, if you want to transfer client data to your CRM system, you need to say which field from Elopage (e.g. the first name) belongs to which field in your CRM database. Once set up, they run fully automatic.

To name a few applications that Zapier can connect Elopage with:

  • CRM systems like Infusionsoft by Keap, Freshsales, Insightly, Pipedrive, Zendesk Sell, Teamleader, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, AgileCRM, SuperOffice CRM, Copper, 1CRM, MOCO, noCRM.io, Daylite or Close
  • Marketing automation and social media marketing systems like ActiveCampaign, Klick-Tipp, Mailchimp, GetResponse, ConvertKit, Ontraport, MailerLite, CleverReach, Quentn, ClickfFunnels, Fomo, ManyChat, AWeber, HubSpot, SendPulse, Eventbrite, Campaign Monitor, Sendinblue, Mailjet, Proof, Digistore24, SendGrid, MailUp, WishList Member, Klaviyo, Drip, Mautic, Sendy, BombBomb.com, Perspective, Benchmark Email, lemlist, Builderall Mailingboss, Automizy or Zoho Mail
  • Online Course systems like Kajabi, Teachable, DigiMember, LearnWorlds, Thinkific, LearnDash or Podia
  • Scheduling systems like Calendly, eTermin, Acuity Scheduling, YouCanBook.Me, 10to8 Online Booking, or SimplyBook.me
  • Project and Task Management tools like Asana, Slack, Google Sheets, Trello, Monday.com, Todoist, Twist, Dropbox, Evernote, OneDrive, MeisterTask, Zenkit, RequirementOne or Samepage,
  • Video Conferencing tools like GoToWebinar, Zoom, ClickMeeting, WebinarJam / EverWebinar, or EasyWebinar
  • Payment processing and accounting like lexoffice, Wave or bexio

You see, there are a bunch of different options available to match your requirements.

Check available Elopage integrations before making a decision

However, a word of caution: Before being overly excited and just jumping head on into the endeavor, make sure that your specific requirements really are in place. Zapier is flexible and can integrate to a lot of systems.

If there is no pre-defined “Zap”, then the development takes time and extra money. You will need developers to get this done and this might not be too cheap (depending on what exactly you want to achieve). Also, even if the application that you need is already listed as Zapier integration, it might not always have exactly the transaction that you need. Thus, you might see that your required application is available, but you may not find the exact data transfer you need (e.g. you may have a transfer of client data but not of product information etc.). Thus, always check in details before making a decision. That’s what test phases are for. Make use of them.

Also, when you decide to move forward with Elopage and you know that you will need additional systems, crosscheck them with what you already have in place. Make sure it fits into your system landscape. And if you are not sure, just give us a call and we can help you out. Test your Elopage integrations

Last but not least, before finishing the setup, always make sure that you test your Elopage integration. It would be frustrating, if you invested time into setting everything up but then the operation does not work. You can use bonus codes to not pay for your own tests. I will create separate article about how you can test your setup.

The goal of every integration is to make your life easier. To avoid manual intervention and to automate boring copy & paste tasks. If set up correctly, Elopage can run almost entirely automated. So that you have more time to come up with new product ideas or new ways of supporting your customers.
